Hey, It’s Farmer Steve. I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU for supporting local farmers through “CSA” (Community Supported Agriculture). I know you aren’t just buying my box because you love my veggies. You’re doing it because you want to know your where your food comes from, and you want to support your local food community. And THAT means the world to me.
CSA is probaby a good fit for you if…
- You desire the taste of garden-fresh, quality produce that is nutrient dense.
- Shoppping local is important to you, and you want to know where your food comes from.
- You love to experiment in the kitchen and cooking is a passion.
- You want to try new foods (and someone is there to show you great tasting recipes on how to use them).
“Thank you Farmer Steve for a super delivery! Tonight I made zucchini and carrot fritters, sautéed oyster mushrooms with garlic scapes and green onions and Chicken breasts.”

Do I have to pay all at once? (Answer: NO)
When you place one of our veggie CSA shares in your shopping cart you can choose to “Lock in Your Purchase with a Deposit”, or get 6 months interest free financing with PayPal.
We charge a small fee for splitting up payments. If you choose to pay with PayPal credit, select NO on the dropdown for “Lock in Your Purchase with a Deposit”. That way the full purchase will be 6 months interest free. Just select PayPal Credit as your method of payment during checkout.
- If you choose to “Lock in Your Purchase with a Deposit”, a 40% deposit is required to lock in your purchase. The remaining balance is split into 2 payments.
- You can pay by check, money order, credit card, Amazon Pay or PayPal.
- If you need to back out for any reason, we will issue a full pro-rated refund.
Can I switch my pick up location for a week if I need to? YES. If you’re going to do this a lot, that’s hard for our system to handle. But if it only happens every now and then, we can accommodate it. You just need to let us know 3 days before.
What happens if I forget to pick up my box? It depends…. If you are able to reach us via text prior to the site closing, we can hold your products and take them back to our farm, where we will hold them for 24 hours. We can also take that box to a new pick up site later that week. We generally bring back at least 2 missed boxes to the farm — just in case. So give us a call if you missed the window. You might be lucky!
Can I send someone else to pick up my box if I can’ make it? Yes! If you cannot pick up your share yourself, simply send a substitute! All they have to do is give us your name.
Do you credit my account if I miss my box? No, sorry. Harvesting and packing your box incurs a cost to our farm. We pay our crew to harvest and pack them, PLUS there’s the cost of the vegetables themselves. So we can’t replace the box a second time.
Not sure you can do it? We get it. Life changes pretty fast. If you’ve got some unanswered questions that are holding you back, remember that we’ll issue you a full refund before the season starts should you need to drop out for any reason.
And if you decide after 4 weeks into the season that you don’t like the experience, we’ll refund you for the remaining weeks – no questions asked.
